Grounds Maintenance Operative

Six-month summer contract keeping the city’s parks, commons and verges in good order. Immediate start available.

What you’ll be doing

• Mowing, strimming and hedge cutting across allocated park rounds
• Litter picking and bin emptying on early rounds
• Basic machinery checks and fault reporting
• Occasional weekend cover on a rota

What we’re looking for

• Experience with ride-on and pedestrian mowers
• PA1/PA6 spraying certificate is an advantage
• Comfortable working outdoors year round
