Head Gardener

Lead a team of four across two of the most photographed courts in Cambridge, with full ownership of the planting calendar.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan and deliver the annual planting scheme across two courts and the Fellows’ Garden
• Line-manage a team of four gardeners and one seasonal apprentice
• Manage a £24k annual budget for plants, tools and contractors
• Work with the Clerk of Works on tree safety and heritage compliance

What we’re looking for

• RHS Level 3 or equivalent experience
• Five years in a comparable formal garden
• Confident managing a small team
• Full UK driving licence
